We’ll discuss Dr. Brand’s first year at Faith Baptist, writing his dissertation based on the First Black Puritan, growing up in Nettleton, MS., values learned from his parents, and transitioning from vice president and dean of a seminary to the pastorate. In 2021, Dr. Brand was elected at the Southern Baptist Convention as First Vice-President.
