‘These are some highlights we’ve chosen from a 5+hour playlist we put together for Candida’s 50th birthday party. A playlist mostly comprised of Candida’s favorite and most meaningful songs, with the odd extra suggestion from me, Emma. Candida gave me the list to edit down and order the songs in a way we hoped would suit the changing mood of a big birthday party (i.e. anticipating when the booze and the dancing would kick in!) Some of the most difficult-to-please music aficionados offered up their compliments, and the last couple of hours were a gloriously communal sweaty mess on the dance floor.
