Clara Crane was born in Texas in 1871 with dreams of a family. She had one but lost everything, including her mind, eventually ending up in an asylum.

When she was released due to overcrowding, she returned home. However, shortly afterward, children began to disappear from their bedrooms with only an empty candy wrapper left behind.
