This Clive Barker joint is a slice of horror heaven set in a brutalist Chicago background with a kickass Philip Glass score. The film takes place in the socially complex setting of the notorious Cabrini Green housing projects, but the film uses the wanna-be-white savior Virginia Madsen and powerhouse horror king Tony Todd to show its audience that maybe...just maybe...the fear we project on less desirable neighborhoods comes from the evil that's inside us all along. Trigger warning: BEES!
