Canelo Alvarez edged out Gennady Golovkin over the weekend to take the WBA and WBC middleweight titles at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This was a rematch of their highly controversial draw in the first fight between the two middleweights. The judges scored the fight 114-114 and 115-113 on two cards for Canelo.
