- How would you summarise the difference between chapter 1 and chapter 2 of Genesis?
- Why is it good that we have two perspectives of creation in chapter 1 and 2?
- In Genesis 2:18 God says that it is not good that man is alone. Based on what you know of Genesis 1 and 2 so far, what are some reasons that for it not being good? What does Adam lack?
- What are the connotations of the word "help" in the our language and culture? What might need to change in our thinking about this word and how we read it in the context of Genesis 2?
- Why might studying these first 2 chapters of the Bible matter? What impact does having a Biblical understanding of the beginning of all things have on your life?
- What attributes of God's character do you see on display in these two chapters?
