Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM Lens

Listen Later

As a promising lens for both beginners and professionals, the Canon EF 70 to 300-millimeter f/4-5.6 Image Stabilization II UltraSonic Motor Lens is great for a variety of reasons, including the autofocus feature, handheld capabilities, and image stabilization. This lens has strong build quality, which allows it to hold up well in certain weather conditions, especially if there is a protective filter on it. Keep in mind, however, that the lens is not weather sealed. Regarding the Canon EF 70 to 300-millimeter's focal range, it does very well with close-ups of subjects, even if they are at a slight distance. Landscape and scenic shots at far distances come out looking sharp as well. Contrast and saturation have been known to get a little lost from the 220 to 300-millimeter range, but those issues can be solved in post processing.
The Canon EF 70 to 300-millimeter f/4-5.6 Image Stabilization II UltraSonic Motor Lens does well handheld due to its image stabilization, making it unnecessary to take a tripod with you everywhere you go. Image stabilization even works especially well at the long end of the zoom range, allowing for high quality distant images. Even when shooting with this lens at long distances wide open, the image quality does not suffer. If you enjoy shooting landscapes, wildlife, or even portraits, the Canon EF 70 to 300-millimeter f/4-5.6 Image Stabilization II UltraSonic Motor Lens is for you.
