I know how you ladies like to Tussle, but I can’t help but try and understand, why y’all think it’s easier as women, to raise a boy into a man. What about our young black daughters? If everybody wants a son, who’s going to raise our girls into women?

This is for the broken Black Girls and the Healed ones. This is for my black girls that are scared to be vulnerable, admit when they’re wrong or even shed a tear, this is for my black girls that dance to their favorite songs behind closed doors, write their own music and poetry but are scared to share that Black Girl with everyone else. This is for my black girls that have been hurt, and who have hurt others and don’t know why they keep doing the same shit… they just do. I love my black girls. So from my diary to your ears, this is for you.
