Holy cow we went long this week! Shocking to almost nobody, legacy is still kind of a UR delver format. Derric came onto the cast to help analyze legacy (and tell Jake he’s wrong about equipment and sagas) because there was some shakeup in the format. Granted most of that shakeup was in the UR delver shell and some sideboard cards, but some things did change. The Modern challenge put up 13 unique decks in the top 32 on Sunday, that’s insane! Lastly the gang argues about how powerful some of the new cards are on a fundamental basis. All the hosts can certainly agree that Kamigawa has some amazing stuff in it and some dope looking art.

Holy cow Legacy challenge was terrible this weekend, but what do we even expect at this point? Since WOTC has not made any announcements about Legacy, we took a look at a potential new budding legacy-like format called MTG Heritage. It looks like a really interesting alternative for people that are tired of supplemental sets mucking up legacy. And of course modern looks good with maybe an extra dash of grixis.
