This week we review the 1991 American psychological thriller film Cape Fear directed by Martin Scorsese which is a remake of the 1962 film.
This film is awful!
It stars Robert De Niro, Nick Nolte and Jessica Lange.
The film tells the story of a convicted violent rapist who, by using his newfound knowledge of the law and its numerous loopholes, seeks vengeance against a former public defender whom he blames for his 14-year imprisonment due to purposefully faulty defense tactics used during his trial.
This podcast does not get off to a great start. The Scotsman just wants to have a chat and the Aussie can't contribute in any way.
This is a fiery episode not worthy of our review - and both the boys not happy with each other.
You will hear the first formal apology from The Aussie at the start of the show and another at the end.
We do agree on one thing though.....Juliette Lewis was absolutely terrible and completely miscast in this movie. We tear a few scenes apart.
How far would you go to protect your family. We discuss...robustly.
No need to watch this - but you have to listen. It is spicy!
