Laura is Vice President of Alberta South at the Business Development Bank of Canada – Canada’s only financial institution devoted exclusively to entrepreneurs. “Understand your strengths and weaknesses and surround yourself with people to fill those gaps, like a good accountant or financial advisor to best fit their needs.”  Laura has worked with thousands of business owners throughout her more than 20 years at BDC. She is passionate about entrepreneurship and helping founders access the advice and capital they needed to grow and succeed. Laura is responsible for the operations of the Bank in Southern Alberta, and she is also the National sponsor for the Bank’s Women Entrepreneur initiative.
