But in capitols around the country — whether it’s Capitol Hill or state capitols — there are brave people taking up courageous fights every day to make your life better. Elected officials, advocates, activists, community leaders, regular people who are fed up and want to fight for a better future.

Capitol Courage is a new podcast that will shine a light every week on these courageous fights, and a spotlight on the cowards who are not doing the work or meeting the moment.

Co-hosts Rhena Hicks and Ryan O’Toole are advocates and political strategists based in Virginia, so while you’ll hear a lot about Virginia politics, you’ll also hear stories from state governments around the country (and maybe sometimes the federal), where so much of the fight today is happening.
