Capitulating. We may have technological superiority when it comes to our military. But are our enlisted men and women willing to fight a protracted war with Russia and China? We can't contain the violence in our own cities so how can we do it in foreign countries? We're living in perilous times. We should never have built a system that demanded more. It bred distrust, avarice, and envy. We should have been asking for less thereby understanding what was important. We've abdicated thinking for ourselves and now we must capitulate to save ourselves.
