The investigation began with the shocking discovery of a burned car in Cairo, inside of which lay the body of Samir—a government employee who, at first glance, seemed like an ordinary man and an unfortunate victim. Yet as police dug deeper, they uncovered a tangled web of deception, secret relationships, and betrayal.
Samir had entered into a complicated “marriage” with Maha while also becoming entangled in a love triangle involving Mayada and her partner, Mohsen. Struggling to provide for his sick child, Samir became caught up in a dangerous scheme that spiraled out of control.
Fueled by jealousy and manipulation, Mayada pushed Mohsen toward violence. Mohsen, in turn, enlisted two criminals, Sayed and Mostafa Risha, to carry out the killing. What began as an act of desperation ended in betrayal and brutality. All three—Mohsen, Sayed, and Mostafa—were ultimately convicted of Samir’s murder, leaving behind a grim reminder of how greed and jealousy can twist lives into tragedy.
