EP341: Today’s guest is Nicola Kane, a passionate and inspiring individual who is on a mission to save as many family stories and memories as possible. She is a video producer and the founder of Moving Memories, and in this episode, she shares her personal motivation behind her late in life passion.
This passion was born from the loss of her father in 2018, when she realized so much of his story wasn’t saved, and she became determined to make sure others wouldn't lose their stories. Her organization works closely with people who want to document their life, or the life of their loved one, by empowering them to preserve their own stories, memories, and life lessons that have shaped them into who they are.
In this episode, Nicola and I talked about:
Nicola firmly believes in the power of safeguarding family stories and memories, highlighting the regret that can arise from not preserving them. By sharing her own experiences and the stories of those she works with, she hopes to inspire listeners to take action so they don’t lose their own family histories.
