Ransomware attacks have become more common over the years. Last week a coordinated attack affected 23 towns in Texas. These attacks lock down computer systems, requiring owners to pay a "ransom" to regain control. KDNK's Lucas Turner spoke with Carbondale Town Manager Jay Harrington about the town's efforts to mitigate these attacks as well as the planned response to such an event.
