Cardi is currently being sued by a former security guard (Emani Ellis) over a 2018 incident outside a Beverly Hills OB-GYN office. The ex-security guard is claiming that Cardi assaulted her - scratching her face with a fingernail, spitting on her, using slurs, and inflicting emotional trauma that required cosmetic surgery. She’s asking for $24 million in damages for assault, battery, emotional distress, negligence, and false imprisonment.
