We should be responsible with our freedom to enter society at this time. Why would you go against several experts opinions about protecting yourself from anything that is life threatening? That's what millions of people are doing. There are laws to protect people from dying such as wearing seatbelts and many others. Many believe that these types of laws are infringing upon our freedom. Where do we draw the line in what is considered our rights to have freedoms to do whatever we want and whether those freedoms we choose affect others in a negative way or are threatening to others. There are extremes in opinions, but we should have healthy balance in our approach to decisions. The selfish approach isn't good and neither is the idea of all inclusiveness in many cases. These are extreme thinking that usually isnt based on fairness or kindness. Common sense and consideration to the people in this world and our planet, is the best way toward balanced thinking. I realize this Podcast may not be for everyone but I hope if you're listening you'll understand my message comes from a place of love for everyone. We need our freedom and I know many of them have been taken away from us, but that happened because people allowed it. Now some are so upset about our loss of freedoms they are expressing their frustration irrationally. They fight for their freedoms hyper-aggressively within consideration to the damage they could cause. They become part of the problem because they cause harm to people in our society. Today this is being displayed by angry people, who aren't listening to anyone, and entering our communities without masks, or practicing safe distancing. They don't trust anyone so they listen to no one. They don't even listen to common sense. In order to keep our freedoms we need to show that we are responsible citizens. Just like a child grows up and demonstrates making wise choices so parents can trust they are responsible and earn the rights to have freedoms. The answer to protecting our freedom in America is to be responsible with our freedom. These are freedoms that someone else fought and gave their lives for. They are definitely worth fighting for but there should be a better strategy than lashing out in anger and protests that hurt other people. This is like a kid throwing a tantrum noone wants to watch, and the answer isn't to give that kid whatever they're throwing a tantrum for. I'm all for standing up for our rights respectfully. When it's done in a way that is responsible and considers others welfare. During this time of temporary freedom to enter society, I pray people will use common sense and wear a mask to protect the vulnerable and our society. Our elderly are the most vulnerable and most neglected and it's time we demonstrate a little more compassion to those who raised us and brought us into this world so we can have freedoms.
