The popular model is based on the Japanese concept of Ikigai, or something that brings joy and value to your life. In this episode we look at the Ikigai framework and argue that is inspiring and intuitive, but alone is not very helpful to assist with early-career decisions. We suggest that in order to find Ikigai, one needs to dance around the Venn diagram and experiment fearlessly before finding passion. We also offer that disconnecting identity from job title is also important. Find joy and purpose with "dynamic" Ikigai.
