This episode is all about my career counselling and mentoring experiences with students and parents. An interesting conversation about a student who is unwilling to be part of the career conversation with a counsellor, eventually finding a way forward to make an appropriate career choice.

Each of these episodes are aimed to drive a message home for the listeners so that there is a value add hopefully it complements the thought process.

In this episode i discussed about how important it is for the counsellor, mentor to break the barriers with students, parents in letting them engage in these career conversations by overcoming any skepticism, reluctance, resistance. Its not about just a checklist items, more about enabling, empowering the child and parent to make an informed career decision and as a counsellor, mentor act as a tool to help make that career decision.
