This episode is all about my career counselling and mentoring experiences with students and parents. An interesting conversation about a a parent who is anxious ahead of time about the career choices of his pre-school child.

Each of these episodes are aimed to drive a message home for the listeners so that there is a value add hopefully it complements the thought process.

In this episode I discussed about how important it is for the parent to start planning to choose the curriculum, school for the child at an early age. And this should not be based on peer influence, social conformity or just walking the path that everyone is walking etc.,  While there could be many factors that prioritize these decisions, the most important aspect is to keep in mind of the wholistic development of the child irrespective of the curriculum. The best way to do this is understand each of those curriculums (CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge, IB etc.,), their objectives and make your choice, comparison is not going serve largely though it gives an insight.
