Keyara Stevenson (she/her) serves as the Career Advisor/Residence Life Liaison at
North Carolina A&T State University, the largest, and #1 Public HBCU (Historically Black
Colleges & Universities). Keyara’s mission is to deliver innovative, engaging programming to prepare students to meet the demands of a global society through career exploration and
planning. Keyara also serves as the Advisor for ICEE (Interdisciplinary Center for Early Career
Exploration) Theme House, where she is responsible for creatively developing 10 first-year
students and 7 upper-class mentors into professionals, while increasing their career readiness throughout their matriculation. She received her M.S. in School Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University, and a B.S. in Sport & Exercise Psychology from West Virginia University. As a former School Counselor and with over six years of career counseling experience, her passion has always been holistic student development and meeting students where they are.
