Career Spotlight: Insights from women leading the way in property and construction

In this episode, Vicki Walker chats with her colleague Cheryl Harkin, Design & Build Manager at Space Solutions who shares her inspiring career story and what led her to SPACE at the end of 2023. Equipped with a love of numbers and an Excel spreadsheet, Cheryl left school in 5th year to start an SVQ in Business Admin with a small refurbishment company, on her road to eventually becoming an Accountant. Her curious mind and determination led her to learn everything she could about the business and within six months she was training instead as a Quantity Surveyor.
