We all go about our lives knowing that time will catch up with us, but it never ceases to surprise when we get the call that an aging loved one suddenly needs more help than they can afford. What can you do? What's should you do? Let's learn one option right now.
Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.
My guest today is Mark Steven Porro. Mark comes from an interesting background of acting and business management, but what he brings to the show today is actually his experience being a caregiver, and why he believes it's something everyone should do when the opportunity arises in your own family.
His is both a fun and sad story about the many struggles of an aging loved one, and the time he got to spend with his mother, even when she couldn't remember his name. If you enjoy the documentary style, at the dining table type of story; you'll probably love this.
Also, thank you for everyone who tuned in to the last episode and celebrated the two year milestone with me. I hope you enjoyed the look back, as well as a look forward to all the things still to come!

It was a very different style than we usually do for the show, but I like to shake things up sometimes so you all don't get totally bored of me.
We're now into October, and here's the rankings so far:
1. The United States, led by Washington, Arizona, and Pennsylvania. Odd three states to be in the lead, but I like it!
2. The United Kingdom, with England just barely beating Northern Ireland.
3. Bulgaria. Welcome to the top 3! I fear I don't know enough about Bulgaria to pull off an inside reference. Share some things with me!
4. Canada, with an unusual tie between Alberta and British Columbia. Glad to see a different name up here for the first time in a long time.
5. Nepal. Welcome to the top 5! I'd be fascinated to hear how you found the show!
