A Barna poll published in March 2022 showed that 42 percent of pastors have thought about quitting because of pastoral burnout. Carey Nieuwhof was so shocked by that growing trend that he wrote a book about it. In his new book, At Your Best, he drew from his own pastoral burnout that almost took him out of  ministry years ago and presents a way for pastors to thrive.
