I remember you as a baby, seems just yesterday

Time has flown by, but memories remain

Of the good times we had, driving parents insane.

I remember teaching you Marathi but alas

The words and pronunciation you could not grasp

You grew up to be a dutiful son

Cared for Mom – Dad, their hearts you won.

From heavens above, their blessings will they shower

Send all the love, now and forever

You have grown up now, earned a great name

But for me, you will always remain the same

My little kid brother – naughty and fun

Just as you were, when you turned one.
