Less than a month before his trial was set to begin, Austin Thompson will plead guilty in the Hedingham mass shooting from 2022. Thompson’s attorneys filed motions for a guilty plea from the defendant on Tuesday morning. Thompson is accused of killing five people in the Hedingham neighborhood and his trial was scheduled to begin on Feb. 2.
