In this episode I chat with Carla and Amy, Australian registered nurses and midwives who nine years ago decided to step out of their comfort zone and volunteer as midwives in a developing country. They have since made multiple trips to Vanuatu where they have overcome language barriers, learnt to work with limited resources in a different culture and marvelled at the strength and endurance of birthing women.
