Channeling involves an individual acting as a conduit for communication with entities or energies from other realms or dimensions. Channelers or mediums are often referred to as channelers or mediums. In order to establish a connection and receive information or messages from these entities, one must enter a state of altered consciousness.

It is through channeling that Carla Rueckert, the channeler, and the entity known as Ra were able to communicate in the Ra Material and Law of One series. Carla channeled the group's questions into the books, which were answered in response. With this material, Carla effectively synthesized the group's inquiries into an expansive and cohesive body of work, allowing readers to benefit from their collective wisdom.

In this context, channeling was intended to provide insight into the nature of reality, the spiritual path, and the evolution of consciousness from Ra, an extraterrestrial collective consciousness.
