The NBC World Series has a deep history in Wichita, and for the first time since 1935, the storied tournament is led by a woman. Katie Woods is a former Minor League Baseball Executive of the Year and has new ideas to bring excitement to the tournament and to the city. Just as exciting as her new role, Katie's road to get there has included opening doors for the next generation of women in baseball (and sports in general).
