Not the first mockbuster, but definitely one of my favorites--it's 1993's "Carnosaur" with guest Austin Rogers! Diane Ladd plays a mad geneticist who creates a deadly infection via chicken products. The male host acts as a carrier, but the female incubates it...into a dinosaur. What could possibly go wrong?
