Fred is a charismatic Rabbi and social climber, who meets Carol, a nice Jewish girl who comes from old money, on a blind date. Sparks fly, wedding bells ring, and together they become the pillars of their ever-growing faith community. They build a family, Carol builds a business, Fred is beloved by all, and then things fall apart.
