Jerry Vis, was born in Paterson, New Jersey in 1939, where he lived for most of his childhood. He attended Parson’s School of Design, NYC where he received an associate degree for graphic design in 1962, after which he attended SUNY New Paltz in New York were he finished work for a BFA degree in 1965. He then went on to complete graduate work at Rutgers University, New Jersey in 1970 for an MFA Degree. In 1962 he married Betty Louise Pascale and moved from New Jersey to New York. They had three children.
Carol Stanley is the owner/editor at Dragonfly Books & Media. She has been involved in various aspects of media and entertainment throughout her career. Starting in public relations in New York, she moved into the music business, theater and film publicity until being recruited by the legendary Pat Kingsley in Los Angeles. She made the move to LA and is now passionate about California. She has worked in the production and development of film and television projects as a publicist, and as a script doctor. She enjoyed all of it, but the most enduring passion of her life has been books. Now, as owner of Dragonfly Books & Media she feels she is doing what she was meant to do all her life.
