The last time, on November 14 at the United Center, it was Pyotr Kochetkov's 1st NHL shutout. Tonight it was Raanta's first clean sheet of the season.
It's the 5th time the Hurricanes have won 9 in a row, the last coming in the first 9 games of last season. By the way, last year's streak was snapped by the Florida Panthers. Carolina is off until Friday when they welcome in -- wait for it -- the Florida Panthers.
