In this episode I had the pleasure to talk with Carolyn Emery. A colleague I had the opportunity to work with since the early hours of both our academic careers. Carolyn is a Professor in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Cumming School of Medicine, Chair of the Sport Injury Prevention Research Centre and holds a Canada Research Chair in Concussion at the University of Calgary. She advocates strongly for a multidisciplinary approach to research and integrated knowledge translation. She discussed with me how a strong multidisciplinary team helps her to stay on top of her game, and she drops a strong quote along the way.
