Sometimes we can emphasise gifts and power above character development. This imbalance can cause us many problems. God wants to bring us back to a balance between gift and character. The Lord is not concerned with your gifting and anointing only, He cares deeply about your lifestyle and character. It is your character, not your gifting, that enables you to hold the ground through the onslaught!
