We are happy to have back on the show Carolyn Torres, SAUSD School Board Member. Last time we had her on she was running a tough campaign but ultimately came out victorious with the help of an incredible grassroots campaign that gave her and the progressive movement a decisive victory. We'll talk to her about her experience running, lessons she learned, and talk to her about what its being on the dais and the issues that they've taken on recently including the historic vote to make ethnic studies a graduation requirement at SAUSD high schools.
