Carrboro Mayor Barbara Foushee spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Friday, May  9, discussing town news and events. She discussed her announcement this week that she will be seeking a second term as mayor, and how she arrived at that decision. She also discussed the first look at Town Manager Patrice Toney’s budget for the upcoming fiscal year. She discussed major takeaways from the budget, the use of the fund balance, the challenges presented by the current economic landscape, and more.
