CULTURE CARRIERS OR CRISIS CARRIERS

In a season of CRISIS Do I carry culture THE culture of heaven or do I carry the crisis?

Job 36:15-16 NLT - Elihu

But by means of their suffering, he rescues those who suffer.

For he gets their attention through adversity.

“God is leading you away from danger, Job,

to a place free from distress.

He is setting your table with the best food.

The rescue is in the suffering....

This season is an attention getting play by God...

God uses crisis to lead people AWAY from danger and distress.....into abundance, blessing and favour......

God is still leading people....are we still leading people to God in this crisis?

Leaders are culture carriers not crisis carriers

How do I know what I am carrying? Becasue what I carry determines, how far I can travel and who I can support along the journey......

CARRY THESE 4 THINGS....IN A CRISIS CARRY THE CULTURE OF LOVE....

LOVE

“When you are half-hearted and wavering it leaves you unstable. Can you really expect to receive anything from the Lord when you’re in that condition?”

am I WHOLE HEARTEDLY am I preferring others in a crisis...is this season STILL all about reaching, loving and prefer others over ourselves...or have I moved to self preservation. “I just need to make it through this” or “once this is over then....”

CRISIS CARRIERS - Complicated people who have no grace for each other or for leadership....

CULTURE CARRIERS - Uncomplicated people, stable in their ways and have grace for others and leadership in crisis.

Let’s be culture carriers by being UNCOMPLICATED - ACUTELY FOCUSED - WHOLE HEARTEDLY on mission with Jesus CARRYING the culture of LOVE not carrying CRISIS.

INSPIRATION

CULTURE CARRIERS - WILL inspire HOPE, VISION and PURPOSE in the middle of crisis.

CRISIS CARRIERS - SUCK the HOPE, VISION and PURPOSE tou tof every situation and PERSON in a CRISIS....

Crisis carriers love to be the fun police in time’s like these.....

But CULTURE carriers know that FUN brings health, energy and endurance to a crisis.

EXCELLENCE

Isn’t being the best - it is doing the best, with what we have.....

so when WHAT we have changes ... EXCELLENCE changes.

When the many who carry much become the few who carry more, we have to adjust or we will break.....

CULTURE CARRIERS are ok with some of things that used to be really important to (ME)...now not being important to ANYTHING!

CULTURE CARRIERS are ok with some things that were never important to (me)....now being the only things that matter! (Phone calls, social media)

THE ONLY thing that matters in the middle of a crisis is who you are in it WITH! The truth is that you were never meant to CARRY anything on your own...and there is a man who came to SAVE you from the birden of this season and every season....His name is Jesus

PRAYER

Jesus, this is my decision

Today I say yes to you

You died on the cross

To pay the price for my sin.

I invite you to be my saviour.

Come into my life.

Forgive my sin.

Fill me with the power of your holy spirit.
