Today, we head to Morganville, New Jersey to meet Rob Ida in a shop that teems with history, expertise, and automotive provenance.  At Ida Automotive, incredible, one-off projects are what distinguish this third-generation venture from others. 

This family has always been about all things automotive, dating back to 1948 when Rob’s grandfather, Joe, had the lone Tucker dealership in New York City.  From there, Bob Ida – Joe’s son and Rob’s father – opened his hot rod shop in 1959.  Since then, Ida Automotive has been creating sensational builds spanning the full range from Willys, to Tuckers, to Porsches, to land-speed-record-holding machines.

It’s time to head to Central Jersey to immerse ourselves in automotive excellence.
