Carson Foster is back and LIVE! Carson explains that his decision to go pro has been in the works since early fall and resulted from lots of thinking and praying. He wanted to ensure he could focus on his final NCAA season before announcing the news of his decision to go pro to his teammates and coaches, which he did shortly after NCAAs. Carson admits that he put pressure on himself during his NCAA season and wasn't happy with his performance, but he has learned from the experience and is excited to focus on what he loves most: long course swimming. He will finish his college coursework with a few summer classes and one final semester that will be light on electives leading up to the Olympic Trials. This doesn't change much for him, as he will still be at Texas training with his brother and the rest of the Longhorn team through the Olympic Trials.
