Today’s podcast is more serious and although we don’t anticipate this podcast will go serious in the future per se, we think when something so egregious happens, and especially when it happens close to home, we want to talk about it. We talk about Carson King, the Iowa State Football fan who has raised over $1Million for the Stead Family Children’s Hospital and how during the week of September 23rd, tweets he had made as a 16 year old were made unearthed by the Des Moines Register.  We talk about the story, the “apologies” made by the Register (cough, tone deaf, cough), our thoughts on cancel culture and if we think people can be truly sorry and forgiven for things they did years ago (whether they were teenagers or not).
