A frequent target for pirates, Cartagena has a fascinating history that includes the spanish conquistadores, pirates, african slaves and Caribes and Zenu (indigenous communities). It delivers in regards to rich history, colonial architecture, beautiful beaches, museums, galleries and mouth-watering cuisine.
