Carvel, the soft serve ice cream shop you know and love, is turning the ripe old age of 85 this year. To celebrate eight decades of delicious, creamy ice cream, they're serving up cones for less than a dollar. All day long on May 2, Carvel locations nationwide will offer 85 cent cones. The flavors may vary by location, but most stores will have chocolate, vanilla, and Carvel's new cold brew coffee flavor. They come in junior size cups and cones, so you won't get a ton of ice cream, but...it's 85 cents.
