Daily Ski Conditions for Catamount Mountain Resort

Get ready to hit the slopes at Catamount Mountain Resort As of the latest report, the base depth is 24 inches, with a maximum of 36 inches at the summit. Unfortunately, there's been no new snow in the last 24 hours, but the resort's impressive snowmaking capabilities have kept conditions machine groomed and variable. Currently, 41 out of 44 trails are open, with four lifts running, including the Ridge Quad and Catamount Quad.

The weather is looking pleasant, with partly sunny skies and temperatures ranging from 30°F to 43°F, making for a nearly spring-like day. However, winds may pick up slightly in the afternoon. For the next few days, expect some light snowfall, with about 2 inches forecasted in the next 48 hours.

Piste conditions are generally well-groomed, while off-piste areas can be more variable, so be cautious on ungroomed trails. Season total snowfall hasn't been reported recently, but Catamount typically sees its snowiest weeks in early March.

If you're planning a visit, don't miss the Family Tubing Party on March 1st, featuring DJ tunes, food, and s'mores. And mark your calendars for the Cardboard Classic on March 22nd, where creativity meets speed as you design and race your own cardboard sleds.
