We're kicking off Season 7 of Just Another Friday Night with something a little different as we interview Nasser Rodriguez of Comic Arts - San Antonio! Have you ever wondered what it takes to pull together comic book writers and artists for a comic, book a venue, and get vendors to come out to your event? Well tonight we are going to find out for ourselves! This is the second annual Comic Arts - San Antonio who initially debuted here in San Antonio in the summer of 2022. What is C.A.S.A. ? It's a FREE that's right kiddies FREE, public event promoting the appreciation of comic books, graphic novels, and sequential arts. AA and CM can't count the number of times they've been to a con or a show and there is a serious lack of comic book writers and artists - well not here! We want to know why Nasser chose to stray from the conventional convention of inviting Hollywood type celebs and focusing on those that gave us the source material. It's our also our pre-3 year birthday show so wish us a Happy THREE YEARS PODCASTING BDAY!!!
