The FDA and the Country Fresh are recalling multiple products containing Jif Peanut Butter. Included are: Apples with Peanut Butter; Apple & Cheese Bites with Crackers; Apple, Pretzel & Celery with Peanut Butter; and Apple, Pretzels & Cheese with Peanut Butter. These products could be contaminated with salmonella posing a serious or life-threatening infection in the very young, elders, and those with weak immune systems. All involved products have a best if used by dates of May 14, 2021 through June 4, 2022. These products were sold in: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia.
