A wildlife researcher working in a remote forest northwest of Flagstaff begins experiencing a strange problem: a trail camera he deploys is repeatedly found powered off. When he installs a second camera to monitor the area, the problem stops. When he removes it, the shutdowns return.

Charles Gwillam travels to the site, conducts drone searches and ground surveys, but finds no evidence of anyone living nearby.
