After yet another wonderful breakfast prepared at Blaine Manor, the investigators start putting two and two together. All signs point toward Louisiana. Jack is worried the cult from which his family escaped might be involved in the snake attack, so shares his experiences with the other two. Roy and Dan confer with Evie the town librarian, who gives them more info about Hubert Pretorious Loveland's book. With down time on their hands, and the clues piling up, the investigators decide it might be in their best interest to catch a red-eye to New Orleans. Enroute to LaPlace, they encounter some unfriendly locals in a pickup truck...
