Deep beneath the crumbling edifice of LaPlace Memorial Church, Dan comes face to face with a group of robed individuals who smell, oddly familiar. Meanwhile, Roy barely manages to escape an attack on the belfry but his masterful avoidance leaves him dazed and in a trance. Hubert, however, manages to catch a full glimpse of the jellyfish-like creature that smashed through the stained glass, and immediately wishes he hadn't. The trio regroups but their frayed nerves have left them going in different directions...
